If the story we uncovered, days ago is anything to go by,it now simply means that the many years business relationship between Nigerian born international music sensation of the moment,Tuface Idibia and Lagos based,Cross River State born leather cap and jacket designer,Ita Asuquo is about to hit the rock.

The leather wear designer who is,an ex-Naval Officer turned leather bag,and Jacket maker is alleging that the Idoma,Benue State born singer has been owing him thousands of naira for some customized caps and leather Jackets which Ital(his label) designed for him at the cost 150,000(one hundred and fifty thousand naira) earlier this year and that all effort to get Tuface pay for his services has yielded no result.

His boys said that their oga,(Ital) has been calling Tuface on telephone but that instead of giving him his direct line,Tuface gave him his manager Efe Omoriegbe’s number and other people’s numbers and that anytime he calls to narrate his ordeal to Efe that he will be told to call Tuface’s direct number which he is no longer having.

We further heard that, the leather designer for years has been the hidden designer behind all those leather jackets Tuface wears and that they have known each other in Ajegunle when Tuface was a member of Plantashun Boiz.

Kelly Handsome and DBanj
The stage appears set for a court battle between two Nigeria’s music artistes, award winning hip-hop star, D’banj and Kelly Hansome over alleged copyright infringement.

A statement from Mo’ Hits Record (D’banj’s music label) media Company, Media Image Managers revealed that the duo would be heading to the court room soon if all efforts to make Kelly Hansome to withdraw the new song, a remix of D’banj’s I’m Feeling Good, which Hansome had released on the Internet, fail.

Mo’ Hits alleged that the D’banj’s song, I’m Feeling Good, was leaked in the process of recording and it finally found it’s way into Kelly Hansome’s hands who quickly did a ‘remix’. “It shows how slippery the nation’s entertainment sector is,” the star’s publicist said in the statement.

The statement read: “Do take notice that Mo’Hits Records Limited is the lawful owner of rights to the recorded material (I’m Feeling Good) being touted by one Kelechi Obinna Orji a.k.a. Kelly Hansome or persons acting for him.

Mo’Hits Records Limited has not granted the said rights to Mr. Hansome or to anyone else. Mr. Hansome’s possession and offering of the material at issue is unauthorized, unjustified, inexcusable and downright illegal; the subject of current civil and criminal proceedings.”

Mo’ Hits advised anyone not to “publish, offer, play, copy, post or howsoever treat with the said material if or when it is offered to you.”

Hansome through his lawyer had denied any wrong doing. “If that position does not change, Mo’ Hits will be left with no choice than to seek redress in the law court but in the intermission, any third party that does not want to be dragged into this litigation should desist from promoting the work in any form,” the statement warned

Actress Tonto Dikeh's New Tattoo.

Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, is by now, enjoying the best of her life as a make-believe queen in the United States of America where she
is with her friends and colleagues, Uche Jombo, Kalu Ikeagwu and others for the tour of the movie 'Damage' in the States.

She had left the shores of this country earlier this month to the United States for that purpose, Damage premiere US tour. Just some weeks back, news had filtered the media of her 57 tattoos on her body, which she was happy with when people read about it.

Just yesterday, she posted a picture online of her new drawn tattoo, which she did on her back just about two days back in the United States. The picture has been generating comments from her friends on twitter and other social networking sites online.

In one instance, one of her fans asked why she drew a bigger tattoo on her body (back), she simply replied the fan to get himself killed if he was not happy with her tattoo.

Hmm, Miss Ikwere lady or Engineer Tonto, that was too harsh to say to a person and from a celeb like you. All the same, your fans care about you, which is why they are concerned about you. As you once said, it is your body and life, no question. Success.

Click for Full Image Size
The new house is a 6 Bedroom duplex befitting an upwardly mobile, eligible bachelor like Da'Prince-aka Omoba. The Mo'hits members, except for Wande Coal have all moved out of the Maryland mansion, while Jazzy & D'banj still lives together but now at Lekki, Dr. Sid the dentist turned musician moved to his own place at the 1004 Estates.

It’s been a rollercoaster couple years for the members of the Mo'Hits, all things seem to have come together for good for them, in terms of exposure and visibility, money and fame and all otherwise, All members of the record label have had one or 2 if not more major hits in the market except for D-banj's younger sibling. And the good fortune continued with the G.O.O.D music label collaboration which reportedly made Don Jazzy & D Banj $3 Million dollars richer, many have come to believe that Mo'Hits Record might probably be the richest record label in the country.

Da'Prince recently took his celebrity status a notch up, by opening his own nightclub called JONZING, which was very well received by revelers and that's another money making channel established by the young dude.

HIP-HOP ACT WIZKID ESCAPES FAN MOB AT HIS FATHER'S BIRTHDAY PARTY

Click for Full Image Size

Ever since popular singer, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun popularly known as Wizkid burst into stardom on the heels of his monster hit single, 'Holla At Ur Boy,' life has never been the same.

Within a very short space of time,Wizkid suddenly became a household name as millions of music fans across the globe celebrated the glaring success of his musical exploits.

Like a falcon digging its talons into an unsuspecting prey,Wizkid sunk his teeth into the very epicenter of the Nigerian music industry and before you could say Freddie Kugar, his musical identity shone like a super- star.

Two days back, Banky W's manager, Segun Demuren tweeted the experience he had with his client, banky W and Wizkid while at surulere for wizkid's dad birthday party. Segun described how wizkid was mobbed through hundreds of eager fans at the party. And at the end of the day, he couldn't spend more time with his dad.

Segun shares the experience;
"Sunday was special. Wizkid's father's 70th birthday, in Surulere, Shitta Bey area. We came prepared we thought… 10 Mopol… We thought wrong!

BankyW and I arrived around 6am, plan was to stay for an hour. We call Wizkid, thinking he would be partying with his Dad and dude is sitting in a car surrounded by like 6 Mopol. And he has been this way since 2pm, at his own Father's 70th gig. I couldn't believe it.

So we get him out and walk into the event (at a school playground by the way), so he can sit with his father. Big Mistake.

In less than 15 seconds, the canopy is swamped, there are 200 phones in the air taking pics, crowd is overwhelming security.

MC is announcing for all to sit down… nothing. Wizkid's mum makes it through, she's scared and wants us to leave to their house.

Since all the security came to this one tent, they left the main gate free, Area boys have made it through. I'm hearing "Wizzy, Wiz, Baba Wizzo

"It's no longer safe, we need to go". We greet Wizkid's dad & make our way to our vehicle, there's at least 150 people around it. What?

So security guy carries Wizkid, one manages to open door, bundle Wizkid and BankyW in it. I manage to squeeze in, my clothes stuck in the door.

We try to get out, (I'm sure we ran over someone's feet), but it's Surulere's tight streets & so a mob starts chasing the vehicle.

So BankyW brings out cash and throws a wad out & they go for that instead. It gives us time to maneuver 5 mins to Wiz's Dad house.

I look at BankyW, I look at Wizkid and I feel completely sorry for these guys. I ask if this is how it is & they say even this is nothing!

Back in the domain of his father's house, a bit quiet, I look at the kid bb'ing, loosely surrounded by 4 hefty guys. He seems alone.

It's his father's 70th birthday & he can't attend it, because his name is Wizkid

The world’s most powerful people

What do the president of the United States, the Dalai Lama, a billionaire drug dealer and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg  all have in common?  They are all featured on FORBES' annual ranking of the World's Most Powerful People.
The ranking takes into account four factors.  First, we measured how many people a person has power over.  For a religious leader, like Pope Benedict XVI (#7), that would be the number of adherents, or Catholics, in the world.  For a CEO, like General Electric's Jeffrey Immelt (#28) we counted the number of employees.
Then we looked at the financial resources controlled by each candidate, whether that is revenues (for a company), GDP (for a country) or net worth (for a billionaire). Next we asked: Is a candidate influential in more than one arena, or sphere? This bumped up the ranking of people like New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg (#17), who is a powerful politician, a self-made media billionaire and a major philanthropist.
Finally, we gave consideration to how actively the candidates wield their power.  This measure eliminated inactive heirs to great fortunes, semi-retired industrialists and former heads of state.  In all, 70 people made the final list, one for every 100 million people on the planet.
Regaining the title of the World's Most Powerful Man on this year's list is President Barack Obama, who gave up the top spot last year to China's president Hu Jintao (#3). Despite his current political weakness, Obama remains the head-of-state of the world's largest, most dynamic economy, commander-in-chief of the planet's deadliest military and, unofficially, the leader of the free world.  Moreover, Hu's relative power is decreasing as he starts giving up important political offices, including general secretary of the Chinese Communist Party, to his successor Xi Jinping (#69).
In second place is Russian prime minister Vladimir Putin, who is poised to regain the Russian presidency this year from his loyal underling president Dmitry Medvedev (#59).  German chancellor Angela Merkel ranks fourth and rounding out the top five is Bill Gates, co-chair of the world's largest charity, chairman of Microsoft and America's richest man.
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg (#9) is the youngest person on the list at age 27, and the biggest gainer this year, jumping 31 spots from 40th in 2010. Also moving up is Jeff Bezos, the CEO of Amazon, who ranks 40th, 26 spots higher than last year. Bezos, who is already the largest "e-tailer" on Earth, is now exerting increasing power over the publishing business through the Kindle and Amazon Web Services powers some the biggest sites, including Zynga and Netflix.
On the flip side, Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th Dalai Lama, fell twelve spots this year to 51st after announcing that he plans to give up his position atop Tibet's government in exile. The world's arbiter of good taste, luxury purveyor Bernard Arnault (#65) of LVMH also took a tumble in the rankings, falling from 43rd in 2010.
Two criminals made this year's list. Joaquin Guzman Loeran (#55), the billionaire head of the Sinaloa drug cartel, that operates with seeming immunity in Northern Mexico and Dawood Ibrahim Kaskar (#57), who heads an organized crime syndicate in Mumbai and is suspected of providing logistical and financial support for terrorists.
Life is not easy at the top.  Ten people fell off the list this year due to declining influence, including Oprah Winfrey, disgraced French politician Dominique Strauss-Kahn and former Japanese prime minister Naoto Kan. Others departed in a more definitive way, including Apple cofounder Steve Jobs (Feb. 24, 1955 — Oct. 5, 2011) and Osama bin Laden (Mar. 10, 1947 — May 2, 2011).
